You changed your name to Yakou Furio after losing your fancy robe somewhere along the way, or destroying it. Originally you were Yajirobe Ueno. And now you might be hiding your criminal past, especially if you were part of a proud enemy baseball tribe that lost to some Nagito clone badass that regularly gets pissed on coffee.

You felt nothing but shame and embarrassment. So you retreated to hide that part of your past. The depression leading to your long-term smoking addiction.

And the retirement of using umbrellas

Once you were the proud leader of Taito Tribe, full of rough men doing all the work as you rarely took center stage in battles between tribes, your true strength shrouded in mystery....

or you were just a lazy bastard.

Now reduced to a broke bloke who can barely keep his bills paid, is on the run from the law and now has to babysit five fucking young detectives in a run down sub who make his life a living hell.

Yet not even the master detectives could master Yakou's past. Especially if he plays an intense version of baseball that involves wall jumping on skyscrapers, and kirate.

Hello everyone!! Today I grow a year older :3 (and I hate it lmao) FEEL FREE TO REPLY BIRTHDAY WISHES IF YOU WANT :3

So, over the time I've come back here, I've become pretty confident and proud of my once hidden passion about sick characters, sickfics and sick comfort/whump... 🌡️

And you all have been so supportive and sweet despite my weirdness so I thank you for that. You helped me feel more confident in my otherwise weird fixation <3 So, for my birthday I thought I'd try and make up a little drawing challenge for anyone who wants to give it a try... There are soo many talented artists on this site (and in this fandom)

So... It's your turn to target your faves now. You will see how fun it is and hopefully understand why I love doing it so much. 😈🌡️

So here's the challenge and the rules!! (featuring my two main lil targets ofc :3)

Regardless of who it is, put your fave through some sickness hell >:3c I'd love to see it! Make em' as miserable as you want!

If you're in the RainCode community you can target anyone, but as you know, my main targets are Yuma and Makoto. If they're also your faves and who you decide to use, that will make me extra happy!

Some tips for anyone new to drawing a sick day scenario art. A few things that make it look convincing are the following:

Pajamas or Loungewear

Messy Bed Hair

Fever flushed face w sweat or at least a red nose

Tired Eye bags

Shivery body

Ice Pack or a Compress on the head

Thermometer sticking from their mouth

LOTS OF BLANKETS

Tissues or medicine surrounding them

Tea or Soup (or both)

Those are just to name some from the top of my head. If you'd like some pointers on how to make a character look ill, check out my Fever Coloring Guide. This is for digital artists but traditional artists can try it too!

You can add injury or angst to the scene but I'd like illness to be the main focus of it.

The scene can be anything you want to, it can be fluffy and wholesome (with a caretaker) it can be angsty, or it can be silly. Its all up to you! Do it for the sake of fluff! Caretaking scenes are the best for any kind of relationship >w<

Either way, have fun with it!! I look forward to see what people make if they decide to give it a try! It doesn't even have to be a full on picture! Doodles and sketches are fine too! Just show me something >w<

Vivia Twilight Looms

ok so that fanfiction... Here it is. Maybe I got the boy wrong, maybe not. This entered my brain the first time he actually started standing. Man just looms cause he's so damn tall I love him.

You're a borrower living in Vivia's home, a normal trip gets a bit less normal.

Vivia Twilight Looms

You had picked the safest place in the world to live. The human man who owned the place barely moved. Most of the time he was asleep and when he was awake he sat around reading. The only times you had to worry were when other people came to see him. Usually it was a number of hard to understand topics brought up. Something about master detectives and cases, whatever those were. When others showed up you hid. Just like today.

“I wanna die someday,” the man, you’d heard others call him Vivia, sighed. He said that a lot, you didn’t quite understand. That didn’t matter though.

You poked out from behind one of his stacks of books. The place was covered in them. He was lying on the couch focused on a book. You waited until his eyes drifted closed. It was the best time. The visitors left and you were hungry.

A few minutes just to be extra sure. Then, you ran. Quick jumps across the piles of books to reach the counter. The Vivia human would leave these piles untouched all the time. Actually that wasn’t true. The other humans who visited would move them around and Vivia would put them back. As if he wanted the piles to stay…

You smiled as you landed on the solid counter. There were a lot of strange memories around these books. When you first arrived the piles weren’t quite so neat. At times even your miniscule weight nearly knocked them over. Only a few days of your stay here had changed that. Almost like he’d changed it for you. You shook your head that wasn’t likely.

As you casually walked across the kitchen counter your mind wandered. One of the visiting humans had been talking to Vivia for a while. Something about a spy, whatever that was. All the things humans talked about were weird. You shrugged your shoulders, pausing in your stroll to look around. It was almost impossible to believe your wide eyes once you found some food.

Sitting in the open, crumbled enough you could fill your bag without being noticed, was a muffin. The scent was fresh and cinnamony. It even looked like steam rose from it. You couldn’t remember the last time you got to eat something warm. It was too good to be true. Vivia didn’t seem to care much about what he ate, even less if it was warm. That didn’t stop you from stumbling towards the warm enticing food. Long before it was close enough to reach you started to struggle taking steps. You looked down slowly, tears springing to your eyes as you found the problem.

Beneath your feet was some strange substance. A kind of blue you’d never seen before. Looking over your shoulder you found a long line of your footprints along the substance. You tried to pull free, but your feet sunk in as you looked around. It was up to your ankles now and you couldn’t escape. Vivia hadn’t been in the kitchen, he hadn’t moved all day, you were checking on him earlier when the others… You weren’t watching the other humans who had come to visit him…

As if things had to get worse, you heard one of Vivia’s loud sighs. That meant he was awake. He didn’t get up often, there was a chance you could get out of this.

“How troublesome,” he sighed. You started to shake as you stared over the tiny wall that had been hiding the couch. Vivia was standing, taller than most of the other humans you had seen around him. Every second filled your soul with dread. “I don’t have a choice it seems.”

Your heart pounded in your ears as the dark figure started to walk. It felt like he was so far away when you were moving around. Now he felt too close, each heavy step reached you. When you imagined his steps you thought they’d be slow and somehow soft. It wasn’t the reality. He was standing over you too quickly. As if that wasn’t bad enough he loomed. Bringing his face so close you could touch his skin.

“What are you?” he slowly asked. He always spoke slowly. You couldn’t think. This human was too big, too focused. Purple eyes staring at you, studying you. A sigh that would have knocked you down if you weren’t stuck to some weird surface. “I suppose it doesn’t matter…”

You screamed as he moved. That had him stare at you, looming over you. Eyes stuck to your small form. The fear started to win. You fought, trying desperately to free your feet. If you could run you might make progress. At least have a chance to pretend you could survive. The sigh from the towering human only made the situation worse. 

“Do you have to be so loud…” he said as he rubbed the back of his head.

The truth of your situation sunk in as his other hand came close. Long fingers wrapped around you. The strange substance pulled at your feet as he lifted you. The muscles beneath the skin tensed, the grip tightened, and the ground disappeared. Vivia lifted you right up to his eyes. It didn’t seem possible, but he continued to loom even when he held you. As if he existed just to loom over everyone. The way he stared at you didn’t help.

For the first time since you’d found this place, his eyes were fierce. A promise of action behind them. This human should be safe. He slept all the time. Barely moving. The books left all over, but precisely placed in stacks made it easy to hide. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

“No… they are wrong.” In his hand, Vivia’s words rattled your bones. They were soft, but the bass of his voice couldn’t be hidden. You started to shake. After all this time you would die. You didn’t even understand how he’d seen you. What made him check now of all times!? “You aren’t a spy…”

Words bubbled in your throat, but time worked against you. Vivia moved, the air from his speed left you choking. You watched from the sky as he… removed the evidence you left behind? Footsteps in the strange sticky substance were all too easily smoothed away. He wiped down the counter all around it too. If you left any sign of your existence it was gone now. All cleaned up by the giant human holding you in a tight fist. He ended it with another one of his sighs.

Until now you thought the worst thing that could happen already did. A human had you in hand. Then Vivia started to walk. Your stomach fell to the floor as he carried you through the air. The muscles under his skin tensing and relaxing with each step. Keen eyes staring at you, watching you, with each move.

“Is this a new forte perhaps?” he asked. Tears fell from your eyes, landing on his pale skin. The fingers holding you almost seemed to twitch. Another heavy sigh. Why did he have to keep sighing!? “No, I suppose not. You would have changed back by now…”

You chanced meeting Vivia’s eyes and looked up. He looked away, towards the entrance to the home. A new fear filled your body. He could show you off. The few people who came to visit a lot of the time were much more frightening than Vivia. They would talk about things, reports, news, fame. A flood of tears left you as he started to walk again.

You fought your own will to try and speak. To try and scream, plead, beg. Anything to feel like you haven’t lost all chance to live. A yelp escaped as he fell onto the couch, the one he had used constantly. He shifted to lie on his side before moving you again. Before holding you in front of those stern purple eyes, lazy and uninterested looked better on him. 

“Stay quiet…” he insisted. More tears fell. It was already impossible to fight back. You were too confident, too foolish. Others told you this place would be bad. You should have listened.

Vivia sighed again. The fear you felt was slowly being replaced by anger. He acted as if you were the problem. All you did was to survive and somehow you disturbed him. A few crumbs from the warm food wouldn’t be missed. Courage built in you, but Vivia managed to squash it quickly. All by moving you again.

He slipped you under one of the weird bandage-like wraps he wore instead of clothes. Pressed directly over his chest… over his heart. He didn’t lay on this side usually. The thumping felt calming, almost reassuring as he sighed again. From where he kept you his coat had you hidden. At the same time you could just barely see over it, see the book. The one that he’d been reading earlier.

Despite your fear you grew curious. You stretched to try and see the words. All you could make out was incident… You’d never heard that word before. As if responding to your stretching, Vivia tilted the book up. It was a bit easier to read, but the words were hard to understand. By the time a page turned you’d barely read a sentence. It had become somehow… somehow relaxing.

The sound of the door opening reminded you to be afraid. You curled up beneath the wrap. Against Vivia’s skin. His warmth at least left you feeling better than the walls usually did. He sighed again, but it sounded kind of forced. There were rushed steps that ended in two people groaning. You recognized their voices. They visited Vivia a lot, one of them talked about being famous most of the time. You started shaking again. These two would show you to the whole world.

“Vivia! Did you keep watch?! It said something had been here!” the loud one with blond hair shouted. “Did you keep watch with your forte?”

“I did,” he sighed. “Nothing happened. I didn’t see anything…”

“No way!”

“Come on Desuhiko, Vivia wouldn’t let something bad happen. He didn’t see anything. Maybe we should just report that it’s not true,” the nervous and sensible one answered. You never came out when he was around, something made you think he knew too much. You poked your head out, the purple haired one was standing over Vivia. His eyes were staring right where you were. Vivia shifted slightly, lifting his book up more and hiding you from sight. “Let’s go report back that it was nothing.”

“All right, fine rookie. You’re really positive nothing was here Vivia?”

“Not a thing…” Vivia’s sigh nearly reached you. The scent of his breath did, oddly enough it reminded you of evenings. “I wanna die someday…”

“A-alright. We’ll go report things.”

Silence surrounded you both as the other humans left. You curled up again, he hid you. If he hid you then he was going to keep you. If he kept you, he’d probably get tired of you. You’d be a pet until he lost interest. From how he acted it seemed like it would be fast. A week or two maybe. Then you’d die forgotten and alone. You had to-

A scream escaped you as his fingers found you, wrapping tightly around your small body. The man was moving again, standing. He sighed, but still pulled you into the open air. It made you shiver, a human body gave off so much heat. Heat you almost never got to feel. You forced yourself to look up at him, he watched you with one eye closed. The purple mesmerized you. The stern look had morphed to curiosity. Curiosity could be worse. The entire time he walked you couldn’t stop yourself from staring at him.

The hand holding you moved again, finally breaking you from your trance. The tense fingers relaxed until you fell out of them… and on top of the plate with the hot muffin. Vivia’s elbows landed on the counter around you. Overhead he loomed, a horrible shadow covered his eyes thanks to his green and black hair. The warmth from the food had you tempted to grab what you could before he acted.

“You wanted that didn’t you?” he sighed. Again with the sighing. You were scared to tell him yes. Unfortunately your stomach grumbled. He sighed again. “You can eat it…”

“W-why?” you squeaked out. Vivia shrugged his shoulders. It made the plate you sat on rock and sent you sliding into the crumbled muffin. At that point it didn’t matter anymore. You grabbed some of the warm food and shoved it in your mouth, happy to have it for once.

“Watch out next time. They’ll probably try again,” Vivia shook his head. “Such a waste of energy.”

“A-aren’t you gonna trap me? Ask me things?! A-anything?”

“No… That sounds like a lot of work… Try not to get stuck again.” Vivia stood up and yawned. “Oh… Let me know if you need more book paths. I don’t mind, they’re easier to read out like this. Haaa. I wanna die someday.”

You watched him walk away. The heavy steps making the crumbled muffin around you bounce. He knew… he actually had made the book stacks for you. You put some muffin in your bag weirdly relieved that this human knew about you. You ate for a bit longer before running off, carefully avoiding the sticky substance. You jumped over the books, but paused to look out at Vivia. Casually lying on the couch reading his book. One day you might even ask him about all those words you couldn’t read and the ones the humans said you didn’t understand.

Well, since today is the last day of 2023, I wanted to sum up some results

In fact, it was a very difficult year for me mentally. There were quite a few difficult setbacks and events from which it seems I still cannot recover. Besides, quite a few changes happened, such as graduating from university and starting a first job. You won't get used to the new stage of life right away, so neither do I

However, a lot of good things also happened this year. I met a lot of new people, made new friends, immersed myself in a new fandom, where I feel very comfort and good and brought me new inspiration. The support of friends and those who follow me and my artworks really means a lot to me and helps me stay afloat.

A: I'm ashamed to say that I hadn't heard of that movie. The characters in Rain Code were named with an emphasis on giving them a stateless feel, and on the sound of the name.

Hi there. (UPDATE POST)

I'm quite sorry for neglecting this blog. I am most definitely not dead, just a while ago I had moved onto mainly posting updates via the bird app and YT Community Posts because it was a lot easier for me to update there for some reason. (Maybe because it felt like I had to make formal posts here on tumblr due to its format? Like this one?) But I am still greatly sorry for neglecting my audience on Tumblr, which I know is how a lot discovered my project (and who i hope are still around... haha...) So yes, it's been a few years since the prologue, and I am very sorry 'bout that. I had a lot going on in my personal life that slowed stuff down as I am the only one working on the production of art/editing/scripting besides the VAs and my proofreader(s), so when I slow down, everything does.

Here's an update for those not following me on other avenues:

By this point, the prologue sprites are quite some years old and not up to my current standards, as well as being really low resolution so it was obvious when I blew them up. I also played RAINCODE and Komatsuzaki's new style with the rimlighting inspired me and made me jealous and so In order to satisfy my own creative needs and to give these characters the best I think I can do I made the executive decision to start a whole castwide sprite revamp.

Here's an example. If you are following me on my other channels you will know that I am almost done with the full revamp sets with only a few characters left to fully finish all their edits. I will be slowly migrating most of the update posts/art I have been doing to here as well.

I hope for the people who have patiently waited and are still interested to please allow me some more time to make CH1 the best it possibly can be.

he's my main guy in my danganronpa/ raincode au thing that i've got going on.

he was born with a forte that let's him hear the thoughts of other people, their hopes, their dreams, their deepest darkest secrets and plans, all he needs to do is make eye contact with his target.

he was also born with severe autism. eye contact physically hurts him, he struggles to understand the thoughts of other people, and he has echolalia, he relies on repeating words that are spoken to him to communicate.

he wants to be a great detective more than anything else, to use his abilities to help others and make the world a better place. however, that really isn't something he can do on his own. he's frustrated to no end that he cant, that he needs help in investigations, that he needs help to get up and get dressed and get a train ticket to the crime scene and talk to the police at the crime scene and apply what he learns from his forte to the case. but he puts up with the frustration just so he can do good in the world, because being a 'good kid', an 'easy to deal with kid' is all that he knows. he smiles, and he helps people and he puts up with things that hurt him because that's who he is, a 'good kid'.

he wants to be a 'good kid' so badly.
